Please include your iOS version, BatchMeal version (Profile → bottom of screen), and a screenshot if relevant.
Find a food video on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube, tap the iOS Share button, then choose BatchMeal from the share sheet. The app extracts a structured recipe and saves it to your collection. You can also paste a link directly in the app: Recipes → "Save a recipe from a video".
Some posts (especially private accounts or older Instagram reels) don't expose their caption publicly. When this happens, BatchMeal asks you to paste the recipe text yourself — copy it from the post's caption or comments and tap "Create recipe."
Open the paywall (any premium feature) and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID, your subscription will be restored.
Open Settings on your iPhone → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → BatchMeal → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Premium until the end of your current billing period.
Refunds are processed by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the BatchMeal purchase, and request a refund.
The free tier covers your first 5 lifetime imports so you can try the app. After that, BatchMeal Premium unlocks unlimited imports, "Get new suggestions" for your weekly plan, and auto-syncing of your grocery list as your plan changes.
The current version of BatchMeal doesn't support editing imported recipes in-app. If a recipe came out wrong, please email us with the link so we can improve the extractor.
BatchMeal stores your recipes, plan, and grocery list locally on your device — deleting the app removes them. To also remove the per-device counter we keep on our server, email us with a request and we'll clear it.
