BatchMeal — Terms of Use

By installing or using BatchMeal ("the app", "we", "us") you agree to these Terms of Use. The app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of a conflict, Apple's EULA controls for matters it covers.

What BatchMeal does

BatchMeal turns food videos and posts you share with it (from Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube) into structured recipes, weekly meal plans, and grocery lists. The app extracts text from the post's caption — it does not download, re-host, or redistribute the original video. Recipes are presented with a link back to the original post so credit stays with the creator.

Your responsibilities

• Use the app only with content you have the right to access.
• Do not use the app to redistribute, sell, or republish a creator's content without their permission. The structured recipes BatchMeal produces are for your personal cooking and planning use.
• Do not abuse, attack, or attempt to bypass the limits of the app's backend.

Premium subscription

BatchMeal Premium is available as auto-renewing monthly and annual subscriptions, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, in the prices shown in the app at the time of purchase.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• The account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen plan.
• The 7-day free trial on the annual plan, when offered, converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in the App Store → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple per the App Store's standard policies at support.apple.com.

Calorie, macro, and ingredient information is derived automatically from third-party captions and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always read the original post and verify ingredients (including allergens) before cooking or eating. The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to losses related to dietary, allergic, or other health outcomes.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "last updated" date.
